Kevin Vonderheide and Aaron Slagle met in Omaha, Nebraska when they were fifteen years old. They bonded over a mutual love for Charlie Chaplin and Rock n' Roll and it wasn't long before they began working together creatively. They played in several bands in high school and worked on music videos and short comedy projects on the side. When they were nineteen, they moved into an apartment and Aaron got a job at a guitar store. Kevin left the following year to study writing and producing television in Chicago, and a few years later, all the pieces were in place. Between Kevin's film crew in L.A. and Aaron's musician friends in Omaha, they decided it was time to bring a script to life.
